Prof. Dr.rer.Soc Supapatpimol Simlee, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchat Leungprasert, Deputy Dean for Administration from the Faculty of Engineering; Asst. Prof. Dr. Aracha Krasae-in, Assistant Dean for International Affairs from the Faculty of Architecture; Prof. Dr. Wanwipa Vongsangnak, Acting Dean of Kasetsart University International College (KUIC); Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirongrong Duangjai, Deputy Dean for International Affairs and Internationalization, Faculty of Forestry; Mrs. Hathaitus Semchuchot, Acting Director of International Affairs Division; as well as IAD representatives welcomed administrators from Northwest A&F University (NWAFU), China, led by Prof. WU Pute, President; Prof. ZHANG Hongming, Dean, College of Information Engineering; Prof. SHI Baofeng, Dean, College of Economics and Management; Prof. LING Fei, Deputy Dean, College of Animal Science and Technology; Dr. WANG Junhua, Director, Office of Scientific Projects Management; and Dr. ZOU Yufeng, Deputy Director, Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges.
NWAFU, founded in 1934, and officially known as "Northwestern Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology University," is a national university under the supervision of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is located in Yangling District, Xianyang, Shaanxi, China. To create world-class higher education institutions, the university is part of the Chinese government’s development and sponsorship schemes, including Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction.
During the discussion, the KU executives proposed future collaboration initiatives, such as a credit transfer program requiring a minimum of 9 credits, the KU Soft Power to promote Thai culture, a Summer School program, and activities related to agriculture and the environment. NWAFU agreed with collaborations beyond the student exchange program outlined in the MoU. Following the discussion, both parties signed the MoU and took group photos together.
