KU participated in the 3rd meeting of the 2023-2024 International Affairs Committee of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT)

          Asst. Prof. Dr. rer. soc Supapatpimol Simlee, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, represented Prof. Dr. Dokrak Marod, Vice President for Research and International Affairs, at the 3^rd meeting of the 2023-2024 International Affairs Committee of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT) on 21 October 2024, The meeting was held at the Phra Ya Si Wisarn Wacha Room, Office of the University, Chiang Mai University.

          The meeting discussed several topics, including guidelines for applying and submitting proposals for exchange programs with Mitacs Inc. and the Center for Digital Media (CDM), Canada. Other topics covered ways to benefit from the agreement between the Council of University Presidents of Thailand and the Czech Rectors Conference (CRC), plans for organizing the 4^th Thai-Yunnan Education Cooperation Forum in Thailand, updates on foreign student recruitment agencies and their challenges, and a report on the special lecture by Ms. Chelsey Laird, Director of the UMAP International Secretariat, delivered on 17 October 2024.
