The Institute of Food Research and
Product Development (IFRPD)

The Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD) of Kasetsart University (KU) was established on 30 September 1968, and Professor Amorn Bhumiratana was appointed the first director. Often known as the KU Food Institute, IFRPD specializes in food science and food technologies, providing food related information and academic services to society. Its research is aligned with governmental policies and endeavors to resolve the country's economic challenges related to agricultural production of food.
